An Island Wedding Arrived By Boat
Tigertail Beach - Marco Island Florida
Services Provided: Planning, Floral Design, Styling & Wedding Day Management
Some weddings begin with a walk down the aisle.
This one began with a boat ride.
Set along a secluded stretch of Tigertail Beach on Marco Island, this intimate waterfront celebration invited guests to leave the mainland behind and experience something entirely different. Arriving by boat alongside family and friends, the couple stepped onto the shoreline to discover a thoughtfully designed ceremony waiting for them — one that felt both elevated and deeply connected to its natural surroundings.
The result was a wedding experience that felt less like an event and more like an unforgettable adventure shared with the people they loved most.
A Ceremony Hidden Along the Shoreline
Tucked away on a remote section of the island, the ceremony space was designed to feel welcoming, organic, and intentionally connected to the landscape.
Guests were seated on simple benches arranged to frame the ceremony while custom floral meadows lined the aisle, leading to a floral ceremony installation overlooking the Gulf.
The design embraced the beauty of the natural environment while introducing thoughtful details that elevated the guest experience without competing with the setting itself.
Arriving to a Celebration Already Waiting
One of the most memorable aspects of the day was the arrival experience.
As guests stepped off the boats and onto the beach, they were welcomed into a fully prepared celebration space. Every detail had been carefully planned and installed in advance, allowing family and friends to immediately immerse themselves in the experience.
The feeling was one of discovery — arriving to find an intimate wedding hidden along the shoreline, waiting just beyond the dunes.
Thoughtful Details for Every Guest
The celebration incorporated meaningful details that connected guests to the location and the experience.
At each seat, guests found a small glass jar intended to be filled with sand from the beach and taken home as a keepsake. The simple gesture gave family and friends a tangible reminder of the day while creating a personal connection to the island setting.
These small moments reflected the couple's desire to create an experience that felt thoughtful, memorable, and meaningful for everyone in attendance.
Music, Florals, and Atmosphere
Live guitar music accompanied the ceremony, adding a relaxed and romantic atmosphere as guests gathered along the shoreline.
Custom floral meadows and ceremony florals introduced texture, movement, and color while remaining harmonious with the natural beauty of the beach. Together, the music, florals, and setting created an atmosphere that felt effortless, elegant, and uniquely personal.
Following the ceremony, guests celebrated the couple's marriage with a flower shower exit, creating one final joyful moment before continuing the festivities together.
From Home to Shoreline
The day began at the couple's home where preparations and meaningful moments with family were documented before guests departed for the island.
The progression from home, to boat, to beach created a celebration that unfolded naturally throughout the day, allowing each chapter of the experience to feel intentional and connected.
Planning, Design & Execution
Florida Wedding Company provided planning, floral design, styling, and wedding day management for the celebration.
Executing an event in a remote beach location required careful logistical planning, transportation coordination, design installation, and timeline management. Every element was thoughtfully orchestrated to ensure the experience felt effortless for both the couple and their guests.
A Wedding Designed Around Experience
What made this celebration memorable wasn't simply the location.
It was the journey.
The boat ride. The discovery of the ceremony waiting along the shoreline. The live music. The custom florals. The keepsakes guests carried home.
Together, those moments created an experience that felt personal, immersive, and unforgettable — a celebration designed not only to be seen, but to be fully experienced.
