Some celebrations aren't defined by their size, but by the people gathered to share them.

For Kaila and Ed, the vision was simple: create an elegant and meaningful wedding experience surrounded by the family and friends who mattered most. Traveling from across the United States and abroad, their guests gathered at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort & Spa in Estero, Florida for a celebration that felt both sophisticated and deeply personal.

With approximately 40 guests in attendance, the wedding embraced the intimacy of a destination celebration while still offering all the elements of a thoughtfully planned wedding day.

The Setting

The ceremony took place in the resort's courtyard, providing a beautiful backdrop for the couple's vows and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests who had traveled from near and far to be part of the celebration.

The setting offered a balance of elegance and comfort, allowing the focus to remain on the couple, their story, and the meaningful moments shared throughout the day.

Planning & Coordination

Florida Wedding Company provided planning guidance and wedding day coordination to help bring the celebration together seamlessly.

From managing logistics and timelines to overseeing vendors and guest flow, our role was to ensure the couple could remain fully present with their family and friends while enjoying every moment of the day.

With guests traveling from multiple states and countries, thoughtful coordination helped create a smooth and welcoming experience from arrival through the final dance.

The Atmosphere

What made this celebration so memorable wasn't a single design element or grand gesture. It was the feeling created throughout the day — relaxed, sophisticated, and filled with genuine connection.

Surrounded by their closest loved ones, Kaila and Ed created a wedding experience that felt authentic to who they are, proving that meaningful celebrations are often the ones that feel the most personal.

Meaningful Personal Touches

One of the most memorable moments of the celebration came during a special musical performance by the couple's son, who played the saxophone during the wedding day.

The performance added a deeply personal layer to the celebration and reflected the importance of family throughout the event.

Later in the evening, guests gathered to watch the couple's beautifully choreographed first dance — a reflection of the care and intention that defined the celebration from beginning to end.

The couple also chose to incorporate personal touches into the reception itself. Rather than selecting a traditional wedding cake, they opted for a carrot cake prepared by the resort's pastry team and accented with cheerful sunflower details. The choice felt perfectly aligned with the overall tone of the celebration: elegant, relaxed, and uniquely their own.
