The Rose Ceremony:  A rose traditionally has
always symbolized love and it is love that you
give to each other as your first gift as husband
and wife.   You exchange one single red rose as
a symbol of your love.  The Rose Ceremony also
reflects on how to use your rose when difficulty
assails your marriage.
Sands Unity Ceremony:  Describes both your
lives as being individual and unique, symbolized
as two separate containers of sand.  By pouring
your sand into one container you are joining your
lives, family and friends.  You may includes
parents, grandparents, children and guest in the
Sands Unity Ceremony.
Candle Unity Ceremony:  symbolize the
joining together of two lives or a family.  Prior
to the start of the wedding, the mothers of the
bride and groom light candles to the side of the
Unity (center) candle which represent the
separate lives, families and experiences
before the wedding day.  After the exchange of
vows, but before the exchange of rings the
bride and groom take each side candle and
light the unity candle together, uniting the
families and experiences into one.
Blessing Stone/Shell Ceremony:  Each guest
is giving a stone, shell or sand dollar after the
wedding ceremony has ended.  As the stones
are tossed into the sea the guests are asked to
make a wish or bless their stone either out
loud or silently.
Hand Ceremony:  In the hand ceremony, the
officiant invites the bride and groom to view the
hands of the other as a gift.   As an expression that
your hearts are joined together in love through all
of the chapters of life.
