| Lighthouse Beach: DIRECTIONS: Across the Sanibel Causeway to the 4-way stop, left on Periwinkle Way; go all the way to the east end of the island. Look for beach signs. DETAILS: A real family affair. The beach is long with medium sand quality and plenty of shells to admire. It has a clear view of the Gulf, with large shade trees by the parking area. DIRECTIONS: Located off Sanibel-Captiva Rd., turn left on Bowman's Beach Rd. Up Island
Pristine and Quiet, this beach is probably the most popular on Sanibel. Great shelling and
amenities however there is a five minute walk, including over a bridge, to get to the shoreline.
This beach has seen little construction development and boasts a long shoreline.
